DeLorean DMC-12 VIN16606's Journey

Following completion, or so I thought, of the fog light modification last time around I was informed...

So with a little time on my hands and decent weather I decided this morning to install my recent purchase from the DeLorean Eurotec Club.

I took an opportunity today to finish the job of upgrading my fog light modification to that provided by the DeLorean Eurotec Club.

After waiting a while to pluck up courage, Sunday 2nd July was when I finally set about working on modifying my fog light modification.

Further to the installation of my ASI Radio complete with Bluetooth® module conversion I have undertaken an enhancement.

It’s been a while since the last update. I had to wait for the replacement radio to be sent from Miami to Dimitri in Northern France.

The search for a replacement DeLorean ASI Radio potentiometer and PCB has drawn a blank.

Resolution of the brake light issue became a real mission and something I, as a novice, wanted to do myself, but it really tested my resolve

The first time I got back to 16606 following Eurotec Tech Day II, was on Saturday 25th March (two weeks later).

On Saturday 11th March I returned with 16606 to “DMCS” in Southampton to finish off the fuelling and tuning issues left over from Tech Day I

Today I finally managed to clean the exterior of 16606 since bringing her home.

Last Saturday’s assistance from Al to get my car running was all in aid of getting to Southampton this Saturday for an impromptu Tech Day.
